Information displayed by the City of Laguna Beach's Geographic Information System should be considered an advisory tool for general public education and awareness. The depiction of the parcels generally reflects Orange County's Assessor Parcel Map boundaries, but such depiction does not guarantee
that the lots were legally created or are considered by the City to be buildable sites. The Geographic Information System is continuously updated and its day-to-day accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Independent verification* is advised prior to making any project development commitments.

Although the technology used for this web product provides useful and interesting depictions of the land and its cultural features, it's delivery often compromises accuracy by it's very nature. This is especially true when using enlarged views of detailed features because they have been compiled from several sources that utilize differing map projections. Most property lines shown herein are accurate to within 2 to 5 feet, although errors of up to 40 or 50 feet are possible because of conflicts in the original government surveys and similar sources. Accurate locations can only be established by a professional survey of the land or by a court of law.
