II. REPORT ORGANIZATION

This report summarizes the results and findings of the Laguna Vision Fair Weekend. This event was one of the initial outreach efforts for the Strategic Planning and Visioning Process. The entire visioning process will include many additional outreach activities that will eventually culminate in a Vision Report, synthesizing and analyzing the community visions. The Vision Fair weekend included a variety of activities that were geared toward involving community members in defining the initial areas of importance for the Laguna Beach vision. Over 1,300 community members attended one or more of the events, representing a broad array of interests.

This summary follows the agenda of the Vision Festival Weekend and is presented in two sections. The first section describes ?An Evening with Futurists?, the kick-off event for the weekend. Section two provides an overview of the results from the Vision Fair booths and the Vision workshops. Appendices B and C include the detailed findings from the Vision booths and the Vision Workshops.
