The Festival of Arts is a juried art show. Exhibiting artists must reside in Laguna Beach or surrounding community. The world famous Pageant of the Masters, in which classical and contemporary works of art are recreated on stage using volunteers to pose in intricate sets designed to look exactly like the original artwork.
Art classes are available September through November and January through May.

During July and August of each year the Sawdust Art Festival exhibits the original artwork of over 190 Laguna Beach artists and craftspeople in a beautiful canyon setting, complete with waterfalls, 100 year-old eucalyptus trees and cooling ocean breezes. Visitors can purchase directly from the exhibiting artists. The Sawdust features live entertainment, complimentary art demonstrations and classes, children’s activities, three cafes and the Sawdust Saloon. Over four weekends in November and December, the Sawdust hosts the “Winter Fantasy” a spectacular holiday-themed arts and crafts show featuring over 170 exhibitors, seasonal decorations, a snow field and Santa himself! In March, the Sawdust presents “Spring into Art” classes taught by professional artists. A weekend in early April is reserved for the “Art Studio Tour” which takes tour-goes on an exclusive journey to the private homes and studio of over 50 Laguna Beach artists.
