The City of Laguna Beach is home to beautiful beaches, wonderful art galleries, unique festivals and incredible restaurants. It's no surprise that parking can be tricky in such a popular destination, not only for area residents but visitors alike.
To assist you in getting around we have complied this
Downtown Parking Guide. It gives you a complete list of locations (map) and rates of our downtown parking information.
Daily Parking Lots
There are 8 daily parking lots located in the City. For more information, please click here.
Free Parking
Park free in the Forest/Laguna Canyon Lot in designated spaces located in the north side of the lot from September to June. Enter the traffic lane across from the Festival of the Arts on Laguna Canyon Road.
Monthly Parking
Monthly parking permits can be purchased at the Community Services Department located at 515 Forest Avenue, Weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Parking Lots include:

Parking Meters
Daily metered street parking is available from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. throughout the downtown area with various time restrictions noted on meters. Rates range from $1-$2 per hour depending upon the location. Free parking is available from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. daily.
There are 119 meters with 10 hour limits located in the 100-200 block of Cliff Drive between Broadway Street and North Coast Highway, including part of Lower Cliff Drive. The rate is $1 per hour.
Parking Permits
The City of Laguna Beach Offers a Business Parking Permit, Residential Parking Permit, and Shopper Parking Permit. Permits can be purchased over-the-counter at the City Hall Cashier, 505 Forest Avenue, Weekdays, 8 a.m.-4:45 p.m.. Shopper Permits can also be purchased by mail or online. For more information click

Taxi Vouchers
Available for residents of Laguna Beach only. Taxi vouchers are valid for taxi rides between any two points within Laguna Beach as long as one of the points is in the downtown area or along Coast Highway from Viejo Street to 7th Avenue. Valid Monday through Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. and on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.. Vouchers are available for $3 per one-way ride, up to 4 passengers per ride. Limit of 20 vouchers per purchase, identification is required at time of purchase.
Residents may purchase taxi vouchers by mail or in person at the Community Services Department located at 515 Forest Avenue, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
