Available to residents of Laguna Beach only! 

The is a maximum of 4 permits per household.  The cost is $80 each for the first two permits and $150 each for the third and forth permit.  
Permits are prorated once on August 1, 2013.

Permits are valid for two years from August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2014.  

Shopper permits are at first available only online or by mail.  Then starting on September 1st, 2012 residents can purchase the permit online, by mail or at the cashier counter in City Hall.   

Please review the Shoppers Permit  Conditions and Restrictions before purchasing.  By purchasing a permit you agree to the conditions and restrictions.

To purchase a Shopper Permit online (Starting May 15, 2012):

Online purchase are limited to a maximum of two permits per address.  P.O. Box or mail drop box address are not accepted.   Online purchases can be made with a Visa and MasterCard credit card only.  Credit card billing information must match the residential address of the parking permit.  To purchase a shopper permit online, please click here.

To purchase a Shopper Permit by mail (Starting May 15, 2012:

1. Complete and mail the application along with your payment and proof of residency to:

   Laguna Beach, CA 92651-4168
    
2. Submit acceptable proof of residency.  Proof of residency must contain a Laguna Beach residential street address.  P.O. Box numbers or mail drop addresses will not be accepted.  Acceptable proof of residency includes one of the following:
       
   a. Pre-printed check    
   b. Driver's license/state ID Card
   c. A current Utility bill (gas, electric, or water) showing name and service address
   d. A valid vehicle registration
   e. Current rental/lease agreement 
    
3. Enclose a check payable to the City of Laguna Beach or complete the credit card information section on the application.
    
4. If you are requesting three (3) or more permits you must submit a copy of each vehicle's DMV registration containing a valid Laguna Beach address.  Smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles, (e.g. motor scooters or electric carts) are eligible for purchase  as a 3rd permit for $80.  Please submit vehicle registration with the permit application.
