School District Permit

Permits are available to residents who reside outside the City boundry but within the Laguna Beach School District only!

There is a maximum of two permits per household.  The cost is $120 for the first permit and $150 for the second permit. 

School District Permits are available by mail only.  After September 1, 2010 residents within the Laguna Beach School district can purcahse a permit online, by mail or at the cashier counter in City Hall.

Permits are valid for two years from August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2012. 

To purchase a School District Permit by mail: 

  1. Complete and mail the application along with your payment and proof of residency within the Laguna Beach School District to:

  2. Submit acceptable proof of residency.  Proof of residency must contain a Laguna Beach Unified School District.  P.O. Box numbers or mail drp address will not be accepted.  Acceptable proof of residency include one ofthe following:
       
    a. Pre-printed check    
    b. Driver's license/state ID card    
    c. A current utility bill (gas, electric, or water) showing name and service address
    d. A valid vehicle registration
    e. Current rental/lease agreement
     
  3. Enclose a check payable to the City of Laguna Beach or complete the credit card information section on the application.
     
  4. Please review the School District Shopper Permit Conditions and Restrictions before submitting an application.  By submitting an application you agree to the conditions and restrictions.

To purchase School District Permits at City Hall (Beginnig September 1st, 2010):

  1. Applications can be submitted at the cashier counter at City Hall beginning Septmber 1, 2010.  City Hall is located at:
