Participation in City Council Meetings
As a result of the COVID-19 virus, and resulting orders and direction from the President of the United States, the Governor of the State of California, and the Orange County Health Care Agency, as well as the City of Laguna Beach Proclamation of Local Emergency, the public will not be permitted to physically attend upcoming Laguna Beach City Council meetings, but you are invited to observe and participate from home by one of the following methods.

To View City Council Agendas
Click here to view City Council Agendas. We post the agenda for public meetings 72 in advance. For City Council Meetings we post agendas on Thursday by 5:00 p.m. for a Tuesday at 5:00 p.m meeting. You may also access them from the home page of our website by clicking the icon that says "City Council Agendas."
Submit Comments in Writing
You may submit comments on any agenda item or on any item not on the agenda in writing via mail to the City Clerk. City Council Agendas are available on our website.

- Simply write out your comments or use this downloadable PDF communications form. Once downloaded, the PDF is fill-able and may be emailed.
- Please complete the form and email the completed form to the City Clerk no later than 3 p.m. the day before the City Council meeting in order for your comments to be submitted City Council members with sufficient time to review them before the meeting. You may also provide written comments up to 12:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. While these comments will be provided to the City Council on 3:00 p.m. the day of the meeting, City Council Members may not have sufficient time to review them prior to the meeting.

You may view the meeting live on Cox cable channel 852 and online on the City of Laguna Beach website. You may also listen live on Laguna Beach radio station KX FM 104.7 either on a radio, through the I Heart Radio app, or online through the KX FM website.

In Case of Zoom Malfunction
If you are not able to use this webinar system for any reason, you may submit comments via email during the meeting to amckay@lagunabeachcity.net. The City Clerk will attempt to briefly identify the author and the content of the email during the City Council meeting. Please make your emails brief and to the point.
To aid the City Council in the timely consideration and completion of its business, we are asking that all written comments be limited to 200 words or less.
