City Hall and City Buildings — City Hall and the Community and Susi Q Senior Center are closed to the public at this time. However, City operations will continue with available staff. For questions please call (949) 497-0311 during regular business hours.
AgeWell lunches – Canceled. However, Meals-on-Wheels will assist those in need.
Animal Shelter – Closed to the public, except by appointment, until the end of March. Residents who need to visit the shelter to pick up a recovered pet, schedule the adoption of a pet, or to purchase a dog license, may do so by calling the Animal Shelter at (949) 497-3552 between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. seven days a week.
Art That's Small at City Hall Artists' Reception (originally scheduled for April 2) – Canceled.
Basketball Courts – Closed.
Beaches – Closed. All City beaches are closed. City beaches start at Treasure Island adjacent to the Montage and continue north to Irvine Cove. The City beaches are closed to everyone, including residents. The private beaches at Three Arch Bay are also closed. The restrooms at Main Beach and Treasure Island are also closed.
City Council Meeting on April 7 – Will be limited to minimal items. Due to Executive Order N-29-20, we can no longer offer an in-person meeting location for the community to attend public meetings. The public may email public comments regarding agenda items to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Laguna Beach City Council meeting is available to view live on the City’s website at www.lagunabeachcity.net/WatchMeetings or live on Cox cable channel 852.
Committee, Subcommittee, and Board Meetings – Canceled through the end of April. This includes Planning Commission and Design Review Board meetings.
Compost Giveaway (originally scheduled for March 28) – Postponed.
Composting Workshop (originally scheduled for April 11) – Postponed.
David Zinn temporary chalk art installations (originally scheduled March 24-28) – Postponed until October.
Dog Parks – Open. Dog Parks close for wet and muddy conditions and close weekly for maintenance. The Dog Park in Laguna Canyon closes on Wednesdays and the Dog Play Area in Moulton Meadows Park closes on Thursdays.
Farmer’s Market – Closed through the end of April.
Fire Road – Closed. The Fire Road is closed to the public, including residents. Authorized public employees still have access.
Friday Flicks at the Forum (originally scheduled for April 3) – Streaming online instead of projected live at the Forum Theater.
Leadership Laguna Citizen’s Academy – Postponed.
Lifeguard Tryouts – Canceled.
Paint, Ewaste, and Shredding Annual Event (originally scheduled for April 4) – Postponed.
Parking – Parking on Alta Laguna Boulevard between Park Avenue and the Alta Laguna extension cul-de-sac is prohibited until further notice, except for residents that have valid City parking permits. The parking lot at Alta Laguna Park is closed, as is the lower Treasure Island parking lot off Wesley adjacent to the Montage. Aliso Beach parking lots are closed (both east and west of Coast Highway).
Parks - The following City parks are closed: Main Beach Park, Heisler Park, and Treasure Island Park. Those three City parks are closed to everyone, including residents. The restrooms at Main Beach and Treasure Island are also closed.
Playgrounds – Closed.
Police Department Citizen’s Academy – Postponed.
Pool – Closed.
Quiet Zone Parking Enforcement in the Woods Cove neighborhood – Suspended until further notice.
Recreation Classes – All recreation classes and programs are canceled through April 30.
Street Sweeping Parking Enforcement – Suspended until further notice -- although street sweeping continues.
Tennis Courts – Closed.
Thalia Street Public Art Installation – Postponed until June.
Trailheads – Closed. All trailheads and entrances to trails in the wilderness areas are closed.
Trolley Service – Canceled.
Volleyball Courts – Closed.
Local Government and Public Agencies
OCTA Bus Service —Beginning Monday, March 23 all OCTA Bus routes will temporarily shift to the Sunday service schedule seven days a week.
Laguna Beach High School Track – Closed.
Laguna Beach Unified School District — Schools are closed and all student-related activities are canceled through Friday, April 3, 2020.
Laguna Beach Public Library – Closed to the public through March 31.

Assistance League of Laguna Beach – Thrift Shop and Chapter House are closed until April 1.
Blue Bell Foundation for Cats — Annual event which was scheduled for Sunday March 22 has been re-scheduled to Sunday October 18.
Boys & Girls' Club – Closed. All programs, transportation services, and sports leagues are suspended until further notice.
Creative Identity – Closed.
Hortense Miller Garden – Tours and programing suspended until further notice.
Laguna Art Museum – Closed to the public until April 2. All events and programs at the museum are canceled during this time.
Laguna Beach Seniors – Laguna Beach Seniors is open for business. The Susi Q Center is closed until further notice, but our channels of communication are wide open.
