City Council to Discuss Modification Options to Neighborhood Trolley Service
City staff has conducted an analysis of the City’s Weekday and Saturday Neighborhood Trolley Services (formerly known as the Mainline) which has been declining in ridership over the past few years and will be seeking Council direction on whether to terminate this service or modify and enhance it to increase ridership. The trolley services impacted are routes 1-5 (North and South Laguna, Top of the World, Bluebird Canyon, Arch Beach Heights) which operate Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Staff will be presenting the analysis along with recommended options to the City Council at its regular meeting on October 29, 2019. Should you have additional questions, please contact Deputy Director, Paula Faust at (949) 497-0303 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
