Laguna Beach Animal Shelter
Under the auspices of the Field Services
Division, and with three full time personnel and approximately 25 volunteers,
the Animal Shelter cares for over 600 impounded animals each year. The three
animal services officers enforce animal regulations. The staff in this section
also licenses more than 2,500 animals, oversees the City’s dog park and assists
with the rehabilitation of injured wild animals and birds. Animal Services
also services the City of Laguna Woods.
