Schedule a Home Security Inspection

Any resident of Laguna Beach can receive a free home safety inspection.  During the inspection, the CSO will recommend ways to make your home less inviting to criminals such as improving locks, adding safety lighting, or removing shrubbery to make your home more visible to the street.   Business owners in the city of Laguna Beach can also request an inspection for their business.

The CSO does crime analysis for the city, coordinates the bi-annual Open House and other events, produces all crime prevention literature, conducts tours of the police facility, and speaks at school functions on various topics including:

  • Pre-School - "Check First", "9-1-1"
  • Elementary - 911, Bicycle and Traffic Safety
  • Junior High - Internet Safety, "Character Counts"
