Vacation House Checks

While on vacation or a business trip if you would like us to keep an eye on your home, we provide a basic house check service.  The owner or tenant must legitimately be on vacation or a business trip.  Homes under construction, vacant houses and homes for sale are not to be accepted.  The resident must be gone from 4 to 21 days. 

• Gather name and numbers for persons permitted on the property as well as an emergency contact number.
• You must come to the Police Station in person during routine business hours. An appointment in not necessary.
• Complete the Vacation House Check Request form.

Please try to make your home as secure as possible before you leave.  All doors and windows should be closed and locked.  An open or unlocked door will require an officer to enter your home to search for an intruder.
