Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP) Information

A Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP) is required for all Priority Development Projects. To determine if a project is a Priority Development Project, follow this link.

Use the WQMP template to create a WQMP for submittal to the city. The WQMP guidance manual may also help if additional information is needed. The city will charge a fee for review, contact the community development for the fee schedule. All WQMPs are reviewed by a third-party contractor to assure consistency and quality. Other environmental planning documents may be found here.

The State of Washington has an excellent Stormwater Management Manual which may also be helpful.

Definitions of Best Management Practices (BMPs) as identified in the NPDES permit may be found here.
