Popular activities are skimboarding (to the south at Lagunita Beach), body surfing, and tidepooling.

There are a number of hazards and rip conditions. Waves tend to break on shore at this beach. Rip currents set up in various places along the whole stretch of beach and should be avoided by children. The rock area to the north is popular with sightseers, but can become unsafe during surf or high tide conditions. There is no public restroom available at this beach.

If you do visit this area please do not take, collect or disturb any of the marine life. The taking or collecting of rocks, shells, or marine life is prohibited. Fishing is not allowed at this beach.
