INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS TO THE EMERGENCY/DISASTER PREPAREDNESS COMMITTEE

Moved by Councilmember Bob Whalen, seconded by Councilmember Mark Orgill, and carried unanimously 5/0 to: (1) Reduce the Emergency/Disaster Preparedness Committee (EDPC) from eight members and one alternate to seven members; (2) Appoint current EDPC Alternate Shelly Bennecke to a two-year term as a full member, with term ending June 30, 2026; and (3) Appoint Bill Dodge and Jenn Sarnsen to the Emergency/Disaster Preparedness Committee for two-year terms, beginning July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026

INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS TO THE HOUSING AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

Moved by Mayor Pro Tem Alex Rounaghi, seconded by Councilmember George Weiss, and carried unanimously 5/0 to: (1) Reduce the Housing and Human Services Committee from nine members and two alternates to seven members; and (2) Appoint Cody Engle and Alexandra Jochim to the Housing and Human Services Committee for terms effective immediately, through June 30, 2025, and Joe Hanauer, Diane Harrison, Adam Redding-Kaufman, and Mary Jo Winefordner for two-year terms, beginning July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026.

INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS TO THE AUDIT REVIEW & INVESTMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The following applicants were interviewed for a position on the Audit Review & Investment Advisory Committee: Steve Brown, Gregory Mech, Ryan Miller, and Jeffrey Randolph. The City Council appointed Steve Brown and Gregory Mech to the Audit Review & Investment Advisory Committee for two-year terms, beginning July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026.

The following applicants were interviewed for a position on the Housing and Human Services Committee: Mary Clifford, Erin Fay, and Les Miklosy (Paul Manina was not present and Laura Schneider was unable to attend). The City Council appointed Mary Clifford to the Environmental Sustainability Committee for a two-year term effective immediately, through March 31, 2026.
