The Laguna Beach City Council recently approved two new public art installations as part of ongoing infrastructure and renovation projects.

“A Breeze, Floating Bloom,” a wall-mounted sculptural installation by internationally recognized artist Arne Quinze will be installed in Fall 2026 at the Glenneyre Parking Structure. The abstract aluminum sculpture draws inspiration from Laguna Beach’s coastal flora to create a dialogue between nature and architecture.

At the Anita Street Beach access, local artist Kevin Myers will install a ceramic mural within a recessed alcove which is part of the newly constructed retaining wall. Installation is anticipated in Fall 2026.

Together, these projects continue Laguna Beach’s long-standing tradition dedication to the arts and integrating public art into community spaces, enriching the experience of residents and visitors alike.

These installations are funded by the Art-in-Lieu Fund, lodging establishments and City of Laguna Beach.
