As a result of the COVID-19 virus, and resulting orders and direction from the President of the United States, the Governor of the State of California, and the Orange County Health Care Agency, as well as the City of Laguna Beach Proclamation of Local Emergency, the public will not be permitted to remain in Council Chambers for the entirety of the meeting, but you are invited to observe and participate by one of the following methods.

For City Council Meetings we post agendas on Thursday by 5:00 p.m. for a Tuesday at 5:00 p.m meeting. You may also access them from the home page of our website by clicking the icon that says "City Council Agendas."
Please complete the form and email the completed form to the City Clerk no later than 3 p.m. the day before the City Council meeting in order for your comments to be submitted City Council members with sufficient time to review them before the meeting. You may also provide written comments up to 12:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. While these comments will be provided to the City Council on 3:00 p.m. the day of the meeting, City Council Members may not have sufficient time to review them prior to the meeting.

Speak In Person
You may speak in person in Council Chambers by entering the Chambers through the rear door, speak on your subject of interest, and immediately exit through the front door. Please note that a face covering must be worn while in Council Chambers, including while speaking.
In Case of Zoom Malfunction
If you are not able to use this webinar system for any reason, you may submit comments via email during the meeting to firstname.lastname@example.org. The City Clerk will attempt to briefly identify the author and the content of the email during the City Council meeting. Please make your emails brief and to the point.
To aid the City Council in the timely consideration and completion of its business, we are asking that all written comments be limited to 200 words or less.

About City Council
Laguna Beach's five-member City Council is elected at large. Each Council Member serves a four-year term. The Council is responsible for the legislative functions of the City. Its meetings are generally held at 5:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. There are some exceptions, so please click here to view the schedule of City Council meetings on the City calendar.
