Project Description
The City of Laguna Beach will be repairing the existing timber lagging retaining wall that supports the western edge of the street along Wendt Terrace between Griffith Way and Glomstad Lane. As part of this rehabilitation project, the wooden guard rail on top of the retaining wall will also be replaced in kind.
The wood lagging sections will be replaced w/ pressure treated wood lagging with about a 2' thick layer of concrete slurry behind it. A drainage system will be installed behind the retaining wall and asphalt repaired as needed at the street level.
The retaining wall is located in the public right-of-way and abuts private improvements. It is not visible from street grade.
