“Can I Try to Explain This More?” By the City Manager
We get a lot of questions! Sometimes the questions are frequent enough that they may warrant a more detailed explanation as to the what, where, and why of an issue. Dave, as City Manager, likes to write things out – it helps improve his own understanding of some things, especially where things get convoluted. These “explainers” are an opportunity to share facts (and some opinions) about these issues. Knowing that Dave will make mistakes in these writings, or explain things poorly, he’ll try and correct them and so note the correction(s). Part of explaining, too, is listening in return – Dave takes that seriously.
